Biography

2008 – Because Of Him

The Edwards Family began in 2001 when Adam & Patricia were married. Much of the time during their courtship was spent making music. Dating was Patricia behind a piano and Adam playing the bass making music for hours on end. This tradition continued on into their marriage and soon became a way of life for them.

2010 – Altogether Lovely

Patricia’s mother, Anna, eventually started singing a harmony part with the duet and the trio began. Anna is known locally as a prayer warrior. She still goes up to her praying spot on a hill behind her house on a daily basis, often to lift up prayers for those who have called on her to pray for them.

2011 – Just Passing Thru

The Edwards Family traveled minimally in the early years of their existence, but 2008 was the breakout year for their ministry.

God truly began opening doors for them, starting at a revival service in February of 2008 at West Court

Baptist Church in Marion, NC. Pastor Ross Lewis invited the family down to sing in their revival, which Dr. Ralph Sexton, Jr. was preaching.

2013 – I’d Tell The World

From that service, The Edwards Family began traveling regionally spreading the Good News of Jesus Christ through song and testimony in churches all over the Southeastern United States. They have been honored to sing at many revivals, including the Cane River Revival of 2008. The Edwards Family have been privileged to sing and witness to many people and have been blessed to see many accept Jesus Christ as their Savior, which is the ultimate reward for the sacrifices made to travel and sing the Gospel.

2015 – All That Matters

Most recently, The Edwards Family has added the talents of Adam & Patricia’s daughter’s to the group. Keanna & Sarah Edwards have grown up traveling with the family and in 2014, they started joining the family onstage for a few songs and they are now part of the main lineup of the family vocals.  Adam, Patricia, Keanna & Sarah’s home church is Bethel Missionary Baptist Church in Spruce Pine, NC. Their pastor is Dr. Darrin Waldroup. Anna’s home church is Patterson Branch FWB in Burnsville, NC. Her pastor is Bro. Cecil Hensley.

We attend our home churches as much as possible, but also travel when God opens a door for the group to minister in song. We all travel with the prayers and support of our home churches.

It is our prayer that Jesus will be seen first and foremost in all that we do. Without HIM, we are nothing.
